These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.calcnio.com (the “Site”), operated by Muaaz Shaheen trading as Calcnio. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Educational use only
The calculators, guides and other content on the Site are provided for general information and education. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, and they do not take your personal circumstances into account. Please read our disclaimer.
2. Accuracy of results
We work hard to keep our tools and content accurate, but results are estimates based on the information you enter and the assumptions stated on each page. Actual loan, mortgage and investment terms vary. We make no guarantee that any result is complete, current or suitable for your purpose. Always confirm figures with your lender, provider or adviser before acting on them.
3. Accounts
You need an account to become a member. You must be at least 18, give a valid email address, keep your password secure and not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
4. Membership and billing
- Membership costs $5 every 3 months (plus any applicable taxes) and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep member features until then.
- Member features are: saving, reopening and exporting calculations, and ad-free browsing while signed in. All calculators remain free for everyone.
- We may change the price for future periods; we will tell you in advance, and the change applies from your next renewal.
- Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
5. Saved data
Saved calculations are kept while your membership is active and for 30 days after it ends, then deleted. Please keep your own copy (you can export a CSV) of anything important; we are not liable for loss of saved data.
6. Background remover and video downloaders
The background remover processes images on your own device. You are responsible for having the right to edit and use any image you process, and for how you use the results.
The video downloaders fetch a public video from the site you name (such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook) at your request; we don't host or keep videos, and each file is deleted from our server within 15 minutes. You may only download videos you own, videos you have the owner’s permission to download, or videos whose licence allows it, and you must follow that site’s own terms. You are responsible for how you use what you download. We may switch the downloaders off at any time, and we respond to copyright complaints sent to the contact address below.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; use automated tools to scrape or copy substantial parts of the Site without permission; or interfere with the advertisements shown on the Site, including by generating artificial clicks or impressions. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Site’s text, design, graphics and code are owned by Calcnio or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the tools and share links to our pages freely. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the source page, but you may not republish our content in full without written permission.
9. Advertising and third-party links
The Site displays advertisements served by third parties, including Google, and may link to other websites. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for third-party products, services, content or websites.
10. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calcnio and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including financial loss, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to membership is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms or change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page; for significant changes affecting members we will notify you by email.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
